Defeated - Prologue
Defeat in battle was an unfamiliar term to Myers. Always living on the edge of victory, claiming a few gold coins in the arena. One of the few men that volunteered, bloodied and scarred from all the battles that took place there. Myers always remained the victor, never defeated. There were times when he slayed his opponents and he would pause for a brief moment, thinking to himself, what would happen if that were himself? What would death feel like, as he watched the life drain from the opponents he fought?

Space, the infinite unknown darkness. Our planet, Earth, was dying. We could not forsee the destruction we forced on our once beautiful planet. We turned to the stars, in hope of finding a new world. First, it was our own solar system. As we moved from planet to planet, we still searched for the ultimate meaning as to why we were here. They said there must be life in the universe, that we were not alone. Terraforming as we go, hoping that one day we would find some sort of life. We had to keep going. In the middle of an icy cavern, two warriors were fighting to the death. One is staggering to his feet, wounded and bloody. His heavy armour is broken and dented, and through his visor is seen a face dripping with blood and fatigue. The other is leaning his back against one of the icy walls and catching his breath, whilst firmly holding his grip on a brown piece of cloth.
